About the Moscow map

Moscow is the great ring city. From the Kremlin's triangle on the Moskva River, the streets radiate outward and are caught by ring after ring: the leafy Boulevard Ring, the broad Garden Ring, the Third Ring beyond. Few capitals show their history as growth rings this clearly.
The Moskva River adds the counter-melody, looping in wide meanders past Gorky Park, the Luzhniki bend and the Sparrow Hills, while radial avenues like Tverskaya shoot out from the centre like spokes. The result is a map that feels both monumental and organic.
